UGC CPM calculator
Work out what a pay-per-view campaign actually pays — per post, in total, and as an effective CPM once your base fee, cap and minimum views have all applied. Same formula Sway9 uses to compute real spend.
What each post pays at different view counts
Your settings, applied across a realistic spread. This is the table worth staring at — most posts land near the top rows, not the bottom.
| Views | Post pays | Effective CPM |
|---|
How the formula works
In order:
- If the post is below the minimum views, it pays 0 and stops there.
- Otherwise the variable part is either
views ÷ 1,000 × CPM, or the flat rate per post. - The base per post is added on top.
- If a cap is set, the total is trimmed to it.
Effective CPM is total spend ÷ total views × 1,000 — what you really paid per 1,000 views after all four settings interacted. It is almost never the same as your headline rate, which is exactly why it is the number to judge a campaign on.
